Swarovski

Swarovski crystal is a delicate material that must be handled with special care. To ensure that your Swarovski product remains in the best possible condition over an extended period of time, please observe the advice below to avoid damage:

Jewelry & Watches:
Store your jewelry in the original packaging or a soft pouch to avoid scratches.
Avoid contact with water.
Remove jewelry before washing hands, swimming, and/or applying products (e.g. perfume, hairspray, soap, or lotion), as this could harm the metal and reduce the life of the plating, as well as cause discoloration and loss of crystal brilliance. Avoid hard contact (i.e. knocking against objects) that can scratch or chip the crystal.

Figurines & Decorative Objects:
Polish your product carefully with a soft, lint free cloth or clean it by hand with lukewarm water. Do not soak your crystal products in water.
Dry with a soft, lint free cloth to maximize brilliance.
Avoid contact with harsh, abrasive materials and glass/window cleaners.
When handling your crystal, it is advisable to wear cotton gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints.

Villeroy & Boch

How to Wash Villeroy & Boch Tableware Properly

At Villeroy & Boch, quality and longevity are key — and proper care ensures that your tableware remains beautiful for years to come. Below are the official guidelines on how to clean and maintain your Villeroy & Boch products.

General Cleaning Guidelines

  • Always rinse off food residues promptly to avoid stains or discoloration.
  • Use warm water, a soft sponge or cloth, and a mild dishwashing detergent.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can scratch surfaces.
  • For stubborn stains (such as tea or coffee), use a porcelain-safe cleaner.

Dishwasher Use

  • Most Villeroy & Boch porcelain and ceramic items are dishwasher-safe.
  • Place items carefully in the dishwasher to avoid contact and prevent chipping.
  • Use gentle dishwashing cycles and avoid overloading.
  • Do not use high-alkaline detergents, as they may damage glaze or decoration.

Note: Items with gold, platinum, or silver accents should not be washed in the dishwasher. Hand-wash these delicately to preserve the decorative finish.

Glassware Care

  • Use a mild detergent and warm water.
  • Crystal or fine glassware should be washed by hand.
  • To avoid breakage, do not use extreme temperature water or place hot glasses in cold water.
  • Dry immediately with a soft, lint-free towel to avoid water spots.

Cutlery & Knives

  • Knives should be washed by hand to preserve their sharpness.
  • Avoid soaking knives for long periods and dry them immediately after washing.
  • Stainless steel cutlery can generally be cleaned in the dishwasher, but remove and dry it right after the cycle to avoid spotting.

Storage Tips

  • Stack porcelain items carefully to avoid scratches. Place a soft cloth or napkin between plates if necessary.
  • Store glasses upright, not on the rim, to avoid weakening the structure.

Tessitura Toscana Telerie

How to Choose the Right Tablecloth Size

Selecting the correct tablecloth size is essential for both aesthetics and practicality. A well-fitted tablecloth enhances the elegance of your dining area and ensures comfort for your guests. Tessitura Toscana Telerie provides detailed guidelines to help you make the right choice.

General Guidelines

  • Drop Length: For a refined appearance, aim for a tablecloth drop of 25–30 cm on all sides.
  • Shrinkage Consideration: Natural fabrics like linen and cotton may shrink slightly after the first few washes. It's advisable to choose a tablecloth that's 4–5% larger than the calculated size to accommodate this.

For Rectangular and Square Tables

  1. Measure Your Table: Determine the length and width of your table.
  2. Calculate Tablecloth Dimensions:

    • Length: Table length + (2 × desired drop)
    • Width: Table width + (2 × desired drop)

    Example:

    • Table size: 100 × 200 cm
    • Desired drop: 25 cm
    • Tablecloth size: (100 + 50) × (200 + 50) = 150 × 250 cm

For Round Tables

  1. Measure the Diameter: Note the diameter of your round table.
  2. Calculate Tablecloth Diameter:

    • Table diameter + (2 × desired drop)

    Example:

    • Table diameter: 100 cm
    • Desired drop: 35 cm
    • Tablecloth diameter: 100 + 70 = 170 cm

Alternatively, a square tablecloth with sides longer than the table's diameter by 20–30 cm can also be suitable.

Using Table Runners (Vis-à-Vis)

Table runners add a touch of elegance and can be used alone or over a tablecloth. t

  • Length: Should match the table length, with a drop of 15–25 cm on each end. te
  • Width: Typically ranges between 30–50 cm, depending on table width and desired aesthetic.

    Example:

    • Table size: 90 × 120 cm
    • Desired drop: 25 cm
    • Runner size: Length: 120 + 50 = 170 cm; Width: 45 cm

Yves Delorme

Yves Delorme Care and Cleaning Guide

To maintain the beauty, softness, and longevity of your Yves Delorme linens and home textiles, please follow these care instructions:

Bed Linens

  • Washing:
Use warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, especially on Egyptian cotton. Wash similar items together and avoid overloading the washing machine to allow for thorough cleaning and rinsing.
  • Rinsing:
Opt for a cold rinse cycle after washing to preserve fabric fibers and prevent shrinkage.
  • Drying:
Remove linens from the washer promptly to reduce wrinkling. Shake out and air dry when possible, or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid high temperatures to prevent damage to delicate fibers.
  • Ironing:
For best results, iron while slightly damp using a steam iron. Avoid starch, as it can stiffen natural fibers and reduce fabric breathability.

Bath Towels

  • Pre-wash:
Always wash new towels before first use to remove any finishing agents and increase absorbency.
  • Washing:
Use warm water and mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can coat the loops of the towel and reduce absorbency.
  • Drying:
Tumble dry on medium heat. Remove promptly to avoid excessive wrinkles. Towels will regain softness after a few washes.

Table Linens

  • Washing:
Machine wash in warm water with a gentle detergent. Treat stains as soon as possible before laundering.
  • Drying:
Line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Remove while still slightly damp for best ironing results.
  • Ironing:
Iron on the reverse side while linens are still damp. Steam may be used if necessary.

Note: Yves Delorme products are crafted from high-quality natural fibers. Proper care enhances their lifespan and maintains their luxurious appearance over time.
