Accessibility at the Henry Moon Online Store

We want henry-moon.lv to be easy to use for as many people as possible, including people with visual, mobility, or cognitive impairments. This page describes the accessibility tools available on our website and how to use them.

Accessibility Tool

On the right-hand side of every page, there is a button with a person icon labelled “Accessibility”. Clicking it opens a panel with the following options:

• Text size (A− / A+) – increases or decreases the scale of the entire page, similar to the browser zoom function.
• High contrast – switches the page to a black background with white text and yellow links to make the content easier to read.
• Highlight links – underlines and highlights all links to make them easier to identify.
• Readable font – switches the text to a simple, easy-to-read font and increases spacing between letters, words, and lines (useful, for example, for people with dyslexia).
• Large cursor – increases the size of the mouse pointer to make it easier to see.
• Disable animations – stops moving elements and videos, reducing motion on the screen.
• Text magnifier – when enabled, hovering the mouse over text displays it enlarged in a separate box.
• Reset all – restores all settings to their default state.

Your selected settings are saved in your browser and remain active when you navigate to other pages or return to the website later. These settings are stored only on your device and are not sent to us.

Keyboard Navigation

The website can also be navigated without a mouse. Use the Tab key to move between links and buttons (Shift + Tab to move backwards), and activate the selected element using Enter or the Spacebar. At the top of the page, there is a “Skip to content” link that allows you to bypass the navigation menu.

What We Aim For

We are continuously improving the accessibility of our website, following the international WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA guidelines (including alternative text for images, sufficient contrast, a logical structure for headings and buttons, and keyboard accessibility). This is an ongoing process, and not all parts of the website fully comply with these guidelines yet.
