It is a universal truth that opposites attract and create harmony. Hot and cold, soft and hard, black and white. One needs the other to be whole. When designer Lisa Hilland was asked to design a vase for Orrefors, something that would be equally beautiful without flowers, she chose to use metal for contrast beside the exclusive crystal. Bloom is inspired by the organic shapes of nature, by flowers and leaves.

The new arrival to the series this year is a tall vase for cut flowers, a vase which can also be used for dried flowers or a simple branch from the garden. Like the short vase, this vase is equally beautiful with a lush bouquet or a simple ivy clipping. The vases are also lovely in their own right, with only the light playing in the crystal glass.

Celeste candlesticks are award-winning design classics from Orrefors. The hand-shaped, curved glass with stainless steel candleholder conveys a modern flair. The candlesticks come in different heights, each with its own unique style and decorations engraved, sandblasted or hand-painted in the glassworks in Småland. Similar, yet different – making up an elegant group.

Raspberry is a collection of clear crystal bowls, vases, votive candle holders and a plate from Orrefors. The round balls resemble a raspberry and lend to a soft design. Designed by Anne Nilsson in 1992.

The Carat collection is based on a contemporary interpretation of the traditional glass grinding for which Orrefors is world-renowned. The irregular geometry produces beautiful reflections of light in the crystal. Carat Coaster Large is the perfect size to place a nice bottle of wine on or even as a plate for a pillar candle.
